Adversidad u Oportunidad

Swami visitó la casa de uno de Sus devotos chinos de larga data cautivado por la experiencia. Mientras conversaba casualmente con los miembros de la familia que se habían dedicado durante aproximadamente cuatro décadas, recordó la razón por la que habían venido a Swami cuando su difunto padre había contraído un cáncer incurable de la boca y estaba en su lecho de muerte.Fue entonces cuando alguien en Singapur les contó acerca de Swami y lograron llegar a Parthi en los años 80. Una angustiada familia de Meng encontró esperanza en la seguridad de Swami de la recuperación de su padre y se hizo realidad.

Cuando todos los hermanos y hermanas de la familia volvieron a vivir la experiencia con Swami, el hermano comentó: "Swami, ahora podemos ver claramente cómo la enfermedad de nuestro padre se convirtió en una razón para que nos acerquemos a usted". Swami se apresuró a comenta: "¿No es por eso que dicen que la adversidad del hombre es la oportunidad de Dios?"

Así que la próxima vez que haya un problema más allá del alivio, es solo una oportunidad para acercarnos a Dios y dejar que Dios se acerque a nosotros.

CELEBRACIONES DE SRI KRISHNA JANMASHTAMI - SATHYA SAI GRAMA, MUDDENAHALLI 02 DE SEPTIEMBRE DE 2018

Uno de los festivales más esperados y celebrados en el calendario indio es el cumpleaños del Señor Krishna, popularmente llamado Krishna Janmashtami. Este festival cae en el auspicioso octavo día del mes Shraavana, que corresponde a los meses de agosto-septiembre en el calendario gregoriano. Se cree que en el momento de la media noche de este día, el octavo hijo de Devaki y Vasudeva, el octavo Avatar del Señor Vishnu, nació en esta tierra. Los devotos en todo el mundo celebran este día con gran fervor y alegría, y los devotos reunidos en Sathya Sai Grama en Muddenahalli también dieron la bienvenida a su Sai Krishna en este bendito día.

Krishna Janmashtami de este año el 2 de septiembre de 2018 fue conmemorado de la manera más ilustre. Bhagavan fue recibido en el Salón Premamrutham escoltado por la banda de Nadaswaram, niños cantando Vedas y un ídolo del Señor Krishna que fue llevado en procesión. VISITA DIVINA A SRI SATHYA SAI VIDYANIKETANAM - GULBARGA
26 DE AGOSTO AL 31 DE AGOSTO DE 2018

Sri Sathya Sai Vidyaniketanam en Gulbarga alberga a los estudiantes de 6º a 12º grado y también a los estudiantes de pregrado. Como prometió, Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba en Su forma sutil decidió bendecirlos a todos una vez más con Su proximidad, guía y amor divinos. Llegó al campus por la tarde y fue recibido con mucho amor por todos los estudiantes que lo habían estado esperando ansiosamente. Después de la cena, se retiró por la noche.

En la mañana del 27 de agosto de 2018 en la sala de oración, hubo unSatsang con Bhagavan con todos los estudiantes y el personal del Campus. Bhagavan pronunció un discurso sobre la importancia de la oración desinteresada divina: ' Samastha Lokah Sukhino Bhavanthu' .Explicó sobre la importancia de la oración en el viaje de desinterés.Bhagavan también dijo que Él da la primera preferencia a las oraciones desinteresadas de los devotos.

En medio de alegres gritos de Jaikaar, danza Bhangra, procesión de Vedam y lluvias de flores por Sus amados hijos del Campus, Swami ingresó al Campus Sri Sathya Sai Premaniketanam alrededor de las 12:30 p. M. El 28 de agosto de 2018, un día muy esperado por Sus hijos mientras se habían estado preparando en su cuerpo, mente y espíritu para recibir el 'Señor del Universo' invisible en su Campus. Tan pronto como Swami bajó del automóvil, reconoció los esfuerzos de los estudiantes y el personal de plantar árboles al decir que el Campus ahora parecía limpio y verde.

El almuerzo fue arreglado para todos los estudiantes e invitados con Swami, y cariñosamente distribuyó helados a todos Sus hijos. Estaba muy contento de ver a algunos estudiantes recientemente desmaterializados del campus de Gulbarga y algunos estudiantes que buscan medicina de Bijapur, que visitan el campus cada fin de semana.

Swami llegó a Kondapaka (distrito de Siddipet) a las 12:45 p.m. del 31 de agosto de 2018 y fue escoltado por una escolta de muchachas de la Pre-Universidad que montaba en bicicleta desde la carretera hasta la entrada del Colegio Sri Sathya Sai Prashanthiniketanam (SSSPN). Las niñas habían aprendido a andar en bicicleta en solo dos semanas, ya que estaban ansiosas por recibir a Swami de una manera grandiosa. A partir de entonces, desde la puerta principal de la universidad, Swami fue recibido por el contingente de marcha lenta y el grupo Vedam.

Swami fue directamente a la casa de huéspedes que fue construida recientemente. Bhagavan consagró el ídolo de Ganesha, develó la placa y luego visitó cada una de las habitaciones que estaban decoradas con buen gusto. Toda la casa de huéspedes había recibido un ambiente rústico con muebles de caña para mezclarse con las rocas naturales. Adversity or Opportunity

Swami visited the home of one of His long standing Chinese devotees who were enthralled by the experience. While He casually chatted with the members of the family who were devoted for about four decades, He remembered the reason for their coming to Swami when their late father had contracted an incurable cancer of mouth and was on his death bed. It was then that someone in Singapore told them about Swami and they made a bee line to Parthi in 80s. A distraught Meng family found hope in Swami's assurance of their father's recovery and it did come true.

As all the brothers and sisters of the family relived the experience with Swami again, the brother remarked, "Swami, now we can clearly see how the illness of our father became a reason for us to come close to you." Swami was quick to remark, "Isn't why they say Man's adversity is God's opportunity?"

So next time there is a trouble beyond relief, it's only an opportunity to get closer to God and let God closer to us.

SRI KRISHNA JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATIONS - SATHYA SAI GRAMA, MUDDENAHALLI SEPTEMBER 02, 2018

One of the most awaited and most celebrated festivals in the Indian calendar is the birthday of Lord Krishna, popularly called Krishna Janmashtami. This festival falls on the auspicious eighth day of the month Shraavana, which corresponds to the months of August-September in the Gregorian calendar. It is the believed that at the stroke of the mid-night on this day, the eighth son of Devaki and Vasudeva, the eighth Avatar of Lord Vishnu, took birth on this earth. Devotees across the globe celebrate this day with great fervour and joy, and devotees gathered at Sathya Sai Grama at Muddenahalli also welcomed their Sai Krishna on this blessed day.

This year's Krishna Janmashtami on September 2, 2018 was commemorated in the most illustrious manner. Bhagawan was welcomed into the Premamrutham Hall escorted by the Nadaswaram band, boys chanting Vedas, and an idol of Lord Krishna that was taken in procession. Bhagawan blessed the decorated cows to everybody's delight by feeding them, and thus played the part of Gopala, the tender of cows. Swami also blessed the children who had gathered outside the Premamrutham hall dressed like Krishna, Balarama, and Gopis, bringing back the memories of Vrindavana where Lord Krishna played with His childhood comrades. Bhajans were in progress as Bhagawan entered the Hall from the main entrance.

A tastefully decorated idol of Lord Krishna adorned the stage and a statue of Kamadhenu was also placed near the Krishna idol, as per Swami's command.

As a lyrical gift to the Krishna Avatar who loved music, a bouquet of Bhajans and songs were presented by the girls and boys students of Bhagawan. He listened to each one of them intently and was visibly lost in the bliss of their euphonic rendition. Thereafter, the Vishnu Suktam was chanted by both the Sri Sathya Sai Prashantiniketanam Girls' Pre-University College, and undergraduate girls students. Sri B N Narasimha Murthy...

DIVINE VISIT TO SRI SATHYA SAI VIDYANIKETANAM - GULBARGA
AUGUST 26 TO AUGUST 31, 2018

Sri Sathya Sai Vidyaniketanam at Gulbarga houses the students from Grade 6 to Grade 12 and the Undergraduate students as well. As promised, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba in His subtle form decided to bless them all yet again with His divine proximity, guidance and love. He reached the Campus by evening and was received with lot of love by all the students who had been eagerly waiting for Him. After dinner, He retired for the night.

On the morning of August 27, 2018 in the prayer hall there was a Satsang with Bhagawan with all the students and staff of the Campus. Bhagawan gave a discourse on the importance of the divine selfless prayer – 'Samastha Lokah Sukhino Bhavanthu'. He explained about the importance of prayer in one's journey of becoming selfless. Bhagawan also said that He gives first preference to the selfless prayers of devotees.

During the evening, Bhagawan blessed all the Undergraduate students and faculty with an interview and spoke about 'Sanathana Dharma'. He told that all the religions of today are the fruits from the "Maha Vruksham" (great tree) called Sanathana Dharma which is a way of life and not a religion. Bhagawan also said that 'Sathya Sai Baba is not God, but God is Sathya Sai Baba and that Sathya Sai Baba is just a expression or a symbol of God. Swami also went on to speak about Para Vidya and Apara Vidya, and pointed out that worldly knowledge is just for a living, whereas spiritual knowledge is the ultimate goal of one's life. After Mangala Arati and dinner, Swami retired for the night.

On August 28, 2018, Bhagawan visited Sri Sathya Sai Premaniketanam at Bijapur and then returned to Gulbarga....

DIVINE VISIT TO SRI SATHYA SAI PREMANIKETANAM - BIJAPUR
AUGUST 28 AND 29, 2018

Amidst cheerful shouts of Jaikaar, Bhangra dance, Vedam procession and showers of flowers by His loving children of the Campus, Swami entered the Sri Sathya Sai Premaniketanam Campus around 12:30 p.m on 28 August 2018, a day much awaited by His children as they had been getting ready in their body, mind and spirit to receive the unseen 'Lord of The Universe' in their Campus. As soon as Swami got down from the car, He acknowledged the efforts of students and staff of planting trees by saying that the Campus now looked clean and green.

Lunch was arranged for all the students and guests with Swami, and He lovingly distributed ice-creams to all His children. He was very happy to see some recently passed out students from Gulbarga Campus and some students pursuing medicine from Bijapur, who visit the Campus every weekend.

In the evening, a programme was arranged by all the students, with commenced with Vedic invocation. Swami was very happy and remarked that there was much improvement in their intonation and chanting. Brother Gangadhar Matapathi who is serving as the Warden of the Campus welcomed Swami and all the guests. Sri Govinda Reddy, the Chairman of the Bijapur Campus stressed upon the fact that it was indeed a great good fortune to receive Swami and bask in His love. A few songs were presented by the students thereafter, and Swami was very pleased with the rendition. It was the fruit of the hard work of the Undergraduate students from the Gulbarga Campus, who visit the Bijapur Campus every weekend to train the students in music.

A few students then shared their experiences. One of the student speakers by name Kenchray Poojari, who is a beneficiary of the Sri Madiyala Narayan Bhat scholarship, spoke about the poverty in his family. He said that he never knew the concept of breakfast until he joined Swami's school. He had the first....

AUGUST 31 AND SEPTEMBER 01, 2018

Swami arrived at Kondapaka (Siddipet district) at 12:45 p.m. on 31 August 2018 and was escorted from the highway to the Sri Sathya Sai Prashanthiniketanam College (SSSPN) entrance by an escort of the Pre University girls riding on bikes. The girls had learnt to ride bikes in just two weeks as they were eager to welcome swami in a grand way. Thereafter, from the college main gate Swami was welcomed by the slow march contingent and Vedam group.

Swami went straight to the guest house which was constructed newly. Bhagawan consecrated the Ganesha idol, unveiled the plaque and then visited each of the rooms which were tastefully decorated. The entire guest house had been given a rustic vibe with cane furniture to blend with the natural rocks. The guest house comprises of four rooms, a lobby and a dining hall. In Swami's words, it is not a guest house but a "rest house" for everyone who is contributing to the college. The completion of the guest house in such a short time was a miracle by itself. Swami then went on to inspect the kitchen and spent a lot of time with the kitchen staff enquiring about the food schedule, and whether all the required equipment was in place. This was followed by lunch for all the guests.

After a brief rest in the afternoon, Bhagawan arrived for the evening session at 5 p.m. He first unveiled the Saraswati statue at the lobby of the College and mentioned that mother Sharada was present there to take care of the girls. He then went to the hall where the evening programme was arranged for all the devotees and children, which commenced with Vedam chanting. One of the students, Nanditha, welcomed the gathering. She is an orphan who had never heard about Swami and narrated her story of how she came to join this College. This was followed by three talks by students in different languages about their experiences. Preethi narrated how she had attended....
