	Así como el agua subterránea es el sostén de todos los árboles, el Atma es la fuente subyacente de toda la dicha que experimenta el individuo. El proceso de perforar un pozo para traer el agua subterránea a la superficie implica golpear y cavar a través de un tubo, que sostiene y dirige al trépano. Las personas que hacen la perforación toman grandes precauciones para que no entre aire en el tubo, pues si eso ocurre, el proceso de trepanar se hace infructuoso. Finalmente, después de mucho esfuerzo, se trae el agua subterránea a la superficie, para consumo humano.
