Las personas sufren porque tienen todo tipo de deseos irracionales y languidecen por satisfacerlos y fracasan. Le adjudican demasiado valor al mundo objetivo. Es sólo cuando el apego aumenta que sufren dolor y aflicción. Si miramos la naturaleza y todos los objetos creados con la perspectiva derivada de la visión interna, entonces el apego se esfumará, aunque el esfuerzo se mantendrá; también verán todo mucho más claro y con un resplandor bañado de Divinidad y esplendor. Cierren sus ojos externos y abran sus ojos internos ¡Qué gran imagen de unidad esencial obtienen! El apego a la naturaleza tiene límites, pero el apego que desarrollan hacia el Señor cuando se abre su ojo interior, no tiene límite.
